Outlook 2011 For Mac Email Setup Not Visable
Registax for mac download. I’m trying to set up Outlook 2011 for Mac with an exchange 2007 server. It is connecting fine, downloading all my sub-folders. It says it is downloading emails (e.g. 16 in inbox and the blue bar goes to 16/16) but no emails are displayed in any folders or sub-folders. It says 'connected to Exchange' in the bottom right, and 'all folders are up to date'.
I can send emails from it Outlook for Mac, but I can't see any. I've downloaded all updates. OWA is working fine, can see all emails and send/receive etc. This is clearly an exchange 2007 issue rather than Mac issue, as I've seen on another thread that people with similar problems have got it working on exchange 2011 Can anyone help?
When you install Office for Mac 2011 Service Pack 1, some Outlook 2011 preference items are greyed out, inaccessible, or not visible. For example, if you click Preferences on the Outlook menu and then click General under Personal Settings the page or the options on the page may be greyed out, or not visible. Today I needed to resend an email I sent a day before – using Outlook 2011 for Mac. It took a while to compose this email so I got quite scared when I looked at my “Sent Items” folder and the mail wasn’t there.
Hi As you said, The OWA works fine, that seems Exchange Server is OK I found a thread from Office for Mac Fourm might help you Did this happen after updating to 14.1.4? If yes, this is a known bug. Workarounds until this is fixed: 1) Restart Outlook 2) Click/unclick 'show in groups' will refresh with the new messages appearing without having to restart. 3) Refresh cache for IMAP or Exchange accounts 4) Revert to a previous copy of Microsoft Office 14.1.3. If you don't have a copy you'll need to re-install. Cheers Zi Feng TechNet Community Support.
